CloudBeaver 22.2

Let us introduce you to the new version 22.2, which is already available for all CloudBeaver products. Here is a shortlist of the major updates to the web application.


  • AWS connections now support External ID for third-party access;
  • Azure Active Directory can be used for SQL Server authentication;
  • Different authentication mechanisms and the connection configuration through URL for MongoDB have been added;
  • Support for Oracle Cloud connection has been added;
  • Administrators can create shared connections via the Connection menu on a public page.

Resource Manager:

  • users can group scripts into folders;
  • when the internet connection is lost, script editing is disabled to prevent users from losing data;
  • users can refresh all scripts by clicking one button;
  • users can rename scripts.

Local configuration:

  • the application language can be set;
  • the number of table rows to load can be configured;
  • SQL query execution time limit can be changed;
  • The cookies can be disabled.

CloudBeaver 22.0

We are happy to tell you that Version 22.0 is available for all CloudBeaver products. Let’s take a look at the main features included in this release.


  • The most important update is that we have added the new Query manager that allows the admin to view and filter all users’ queries in the CloudBeaver instance. 
  • Specific drivers now can be excluded from the connection list.

Connection window

  • SSH public key support has been added.

Database Navigator

The new menu allows you to: 

  • filter objects in the Database Navigator;
  • collapse the Navigator tree to the root level;
  • synchronize the active Metadata Editor with the element in the Database Navigator.

Summing up the results of 2021 with the latest CloudBeaver release

This year has become an essential milestone in the history of CloudBeaver’s development. We launched the enterprise version, improved the AWS-adapted version, attracted the first active users, and got positive feedback. Introducing CloudBeaver 21.3, the last major release this year. It is available on Docker Hub and AWS marketplace.

CloudBeaver is not affected by the new Log4shell vulnerability.

A few days ago, it became known about a dangerous Log4Shell vulnerability in the Log4j logging tool, which is distributed in the form of a library along with the Apache Logging Project. You can find more information about the vulnerability at

We hasten to inform you that CloudBeaver doesn’t use the log4j library or logback components. Also, none of the 3rd party drivers included in CloudBeaver use log4j.

As you noticed, the CloudBeaver has grown a lot this year and continues to develop fastly. We keep improving our current features and adding new ones with every new release.

Version 21.2 is ready to download for all CloudBeaver products. Let’s overview the new updates briefly:

  • Federated Authentication for Single Sign-On access.
  • Setting up roles in Access management. 
  • Radio buttons in the Value panel to edit Boolean values.
  • SQL Scripts generation in the objects’ context menu.
  • Possibility to delete and rename objects, save DDL objects in Metadata Editor.
  • New supported databases: Teradata, SAP NAHA.

Release 21.0.0

The biggest release of the year was published for all CloudBeaver products: Community, Enterprise and AWS-adapted version.

We included new drivers to all products, e.g. we have supported Oracle, SQL Server, Presto, AWS Keyspaces, AWS Athena, etc. We have also included SSH support in connection properties for all databases. A lot of UI fixes were implemented for Data editor, SQL editor and log viewer. Moreover, CloudBeaver can show spatial data for various datasources now.
